Why Did Jesus Come to Die?

Opening

Rev. 3:20, KJV, ”Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.” Phil. 2:12-13 ”… work out our salvation with fear and trembling, as God works in you to will and act according to His good purpose.”

Jesus died so we could live with Him

Heb. 9:28 “… so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him.”

Jn. 14:3 “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am;”

Jn. 12:26 “Whoever serves Me must follow Me; and where I am, My servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves Me.”
