Who is Jesus Christ?
According to what God says in the Bible, Jesus
Christ is God, the Son, the second Person of the Godhead (Father, Son
and Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19), sent from heaven by His Heavenly Father
to earth, in the appearance on humankind, in the form of a servant. to
be born of a virgin, live a life in perfect accord with God’s will, die,
raise from the dead, and ascend back into heaven from which He came,
Matthew 9:16-17; 14:33; Philippians 2:7-9.
Jesus was with God in the beginning, creating all things in the
universe, John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:16; Hebrews 1:2, Who maintains, or
upholds, all these things by His power, Colossians 1:7; Hebrews 1:3. He is the source of
physical life, as well as spiritual/Spiritual life (the
life of God in our human spirit, by His Spirit, when we receive Him,
John 1:12-13), Genesis 2:4; John 1:4; 6:68; 15:5.
